System and Infrastructure Administrator

Assignment

  • Ensure the proper functioning of the Bank’s infrastructure systems.

Job activities

  • Proactively architect, deploy, administer and monitor: Linux and Unix servers (virtual and physical), virtualization infrastructure, storage infrastructure (SAN and DAS)

including but not limited to installation, configuration, access control, security, patch management, data backup, etc. in a 24/7 production environment:

  • Architect and administer provisioning and orchestration technologies;
  • Automate and track patches for Linux, Unix, virtualization, storage and physical servers; 
  • Ensure that security requirements on systems, servers and related equipment are met;
  • Support and manage the single authentication of users via identity management tools and ensure the integration of the latter;
  • Automate certain administration activities and workflows using Shell/Python/PHP/PERL scripts, as well as their integration with Ansible;
  • Make monthly reports on the activity and write the documentation and operating procedures of the deployed systems;
  • Interact with DSI clients on an ongoing basis to get the job done;
  • Be a mentor to other team members with different skills to enhance the learning experience.
  • Make technological watch and proposals, for the continuous improvement of technologies and procedures of the Sl.

Profile

  • Higher education diploma (BACC + 3) in computer science, Systems and Networks option;
  • 02 years of experience in the administration of Linux / UNIX systems and virtualization platforms;
  • Experience in Banking or Telecom desired.
  • RHCSA/LFCSA certification or higher would be a plus 

Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS);
  • Experience in the administration of virtualization and containerization tools (VMware, KVM, Docker);
  • Experience in storage administration (SAN, FC, LVM);
  • Knowledge of data backup and replication technologies (VEEAM B&R, TINA, RSYNC, etc.) Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS;
  • Knowledge of the overall architecture of the SI and its applications;
  • Experience in administering MySQL, LDAP, DNS, NTP, NFS, SAMBA, NGINX, Git, SSH, RADIUS etc.);
  • Mastery of a scripting language (Bash, Python, Perl);
  • Administration of supervision, security and IT reporting tools;
  • Management of physical servers (IBM, Lenovo, HP); • Notions of information systems management practices (ITIL);
  • Network protocols TCP/IP;
  • Mastery of office automation: Word, Excel (Macros, Graphics…) and Power Point;
  • Mastery of IS security principles;
  • Proficiency in technical English.
