Key responsibilities include:

  1. Implementation of Farm Services activity in its area
  • Plan and contribute to the sensitization of the leaders of the pre-selected cooperatives/organizations on full membership in the Farm Services activity, and also on their responsibility in the implementation of the project, in concert with supervisors and other stakeholders in his region
  1. Coordination of operations for the implementation of projects, programs and standards for certification, verification and all other customer requirements (COH, etc.).
  • Contribute to the design of implementation tools under the supervision of the Sustainability Operations Manager.
  • Sensitize the leaders of the cooperatives/organizations on their responsibility in the implementation of the certification project, together with the Commercial and the other stakeholders in their region.
  1. Facilitation of the implementation and follow-up of training/evaluation of producers
  • Coordinate the implementation of evaluation activities for the accreditation of producers according to the established schedule, as well as training activities.
  • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of Farmer Field Schools in its area of intervention.
  1. Coordination of the implementation of community development projects in its area.
  • Plan and contribute to the sensitization of the leaders of the pre-selected cooperatives/organizations and their communities for full membership in the projects of the Child Labor Monitoring and Remediation System, and community development projects implemented by Barry Callebaut Cameroon and its partners, together with the Sales Representative in its region;
  1. Support in the implementation of specific projects
  • Facilitate the organization of surveys or feasibility studies within the framework of specific projects.
  • Interact with the teams in his area and report if necessary, as part of the implementation of specific projects by third-party organizations in the cooperatives/organizations in his area.
  1. Payment of producer premium
  • Contribute to raising awareness among cooperatives/organizations and producers on the digital payment of premiums;
  • Participate in the implementation of premium payment strategies (digital and cash);
  1. Team management and strategic & competitive intelligence

About You:

  • Minimum of a university degree at Bachelor’s/Master’s level, or an equivalent degree in Agriculture, Plant production, agricultural techniques, quality management, Marketing and finance, etc.
  • Or minimum BTS level with 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • English and or French
  • Good knowledge of MS office suite
  • Have good team management skills
  • Experience in setting up a certification program in the agricultural sector as well as supporting cooperatives on capacity building and development of the management system (at least 3 years)
  • Experience in the management of farmer organizations (Required)
  • Successfully managed a line of business (Sales/Distribution/Agricultural Services/…)
  • Budget and performance management
  • Ability to implement tools to measure and monitor operational and overall organizational performance.
