African Management Services Company | (AMSCO) seeks as part of its activities 01 STOCK & LOGISTICS MANAGER
Location: Douala, Cameroon
MAIN MISSION
The ” STOCK & LOGISTICS MANAGER ” reports to the General Manager and the ideal candidate will ensure the achievement of our client’s objectives related to the optimal management of PAV Kit import activities and the meticulous monitoring of stocks. in end-to-end warehouses to improve the efficiency and profitability of operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
He/she will be responsible for, among other things:
- Develop the supply, storage and dispatching plan for PAV kits and samples
- Determine storage and distribution strategies to facilitate the achievement of customer satisfaction objectives achieve service excellence and profitability
- Perform warehouse and distribution center planning to achieve operational efficiency
- Identify and eliminate non-value-added processes to reduce waste and drive operational excellence in the areas of kit importation and distribution
- Implement, track and process Dashboards
- Coordinate weekly, monthly and annual inventories
- Redesign and optimize transportation models for service excellence and cost and perform reporting and data analysis to identify issues and process improvement opportunities
- Monitor the import operations of PAV Kits and samples
- Coordinate inventory activities throughout the territory
- Supervise the logistics operations of the Business Unit
PROFILE / KEY SKILLS
- Bac+4 in “Supply Chain”, Logistics or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a large scale FMCG industry manufacturing plant or business.
- Able to use one or more inventory management software (ERP).
- Expertise and mastery of “Best practice” in stock management procedures in and warehouses.
- Strong leadership, management and organizational skills.
- Ability to properly track warehouse inventory and provide regular and accurate reporting to management team.
- Analytical mind with great attention to detail.
- Very energetic and physically fit.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team/collaboration with other departments (Sales, Technical, Finance, etc.)
- Mastery of the computer tool with a solid practice on Excel
- Good practice of the English language and mastery of French
