Pan-African Savings & Loans Cameroon is currently looking for 07 (seven) SME Account Managers in the cities of Douala and Yaoundé for the needs of the Operations Department and the Branch Network.

Type of recruitment  : Internal and External

Mission of the position  :

Customer care and portfolio development by offering financial solutions (loans, investments, mobilization of deposits, recruitment of employees, etc.) adapted to the needs of its customers by analyzing their financial situation.

Position category  : 7 Step A of the Pan-African Savings & Loans SA salary grid

Main activities  :

  • Support SME customers;
  • Prospect target customers and develop the SME portfolio;
  • Assess the financial situation of clients;
  • Contact clients to gather financial data and documents;
  • Analyze risks and accept or refuse loan applications;
  • Calculate financial ratios (eg credit ratings and interest rates);
  • Visit the institutions and sites subject to funding or intended to be funded;
  • Write reports of maintenance and customer or site visits;
  • Write letters of notification of approval or rejection of credit applications;
  • Advise clients (resource mobilization options or business development options);
  • Mobilize resources (BDC and DAT);
  • Process forcing operations (cash check);
  • Ensure the effective follow-up of financed customers, accounts receivable and unpaid;
  • Relaunch customers with inactive accounts;
  • Analyze your portfolio and identify the elements of strategy;
  • Manage complaints;

Profile and skills required  :

  • Be at least 25 years old and at most 40 years old;
  • Good presentation, neat and diligent;
  • Hold at least a BAC+2 in banking, finance, accounting, management, or any other diploma from a business school;
  • Have held a credit manager position for at least 02 years. Experience in a financial institution will be an asset;
  • Know how to read and interpret the financial statements of a company;
  • Good general knowledge, acute and discreet commercial sense;
  • Good command of financial analysis and mastery of financial calculations;
  • Have a good knowledge of portfolio development techniques;
  • Having a good command of French and good knowledge of English would be an asset;
  • Have good writing, analysis and synthesis skills;
  • Be endowed with unfailing integrity;
