CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
- CONTEXT AND RATIONALE
As part of the implementation of its 2023-2025 action plan, the Executive Director of SOREPS is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of regional supervisors from the Center, East, Far North, Littoral, North, North regions. -West and South of Cameroon.
- JOB DESCRIPTION:
II.1.Position of the candidate within the SOREPS staff: the regional supervisor, as intermittent staff, is the representative of the Firm in his Region and can be mobilized when necessary. He is the interface between the Cabinet, the investigators and the other interested third parties.
II.2 Candidate profile
- Be of Cameroonian nationality or of one of the CEMAC countries;
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree or any other equivalent diploma;
- Be at least 30 years old and no more than 50 years old on January 1, 2022;
- Have a good ability to work in a team and in the field;
- Be honest (have no intention of embezzling investigators’ money for personal gain) and hardworking;
- Ready to serve in all the administrative districts of its Region and possibly elsewhere in Cameroon and abroad, both in rural and urban areas;
- Have a good experience in computer-assisted data collection (CAPI) and master the Odkcollect or KoBocollect environment;
- Have experience in collecting data from households, businesses or the administration;
- Being a statistician will be an asset.
II.3 Working language: speak at least one of the official languages, and at least three national languages spoken in its Region of competence.
