Action Contre la Faim is an international, non-political, non-confessional and non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). For our operations in Cameroon, we are looking for :
LOGISTICS ASSISTANT M/F
Base of attachment: Maroua
Number of positions: 01
Duration of contract: Replacement contract (03 Months)
Start date: June 2022
Supervised by: Logistics Manager
Location: The candidate must have Maroua as their place of residence
OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB :Ensure the overall management of the various stocks of programs / Support, Contribute to guaranteeing the proper functioning of the vehicle fleet and the monitoring of the movements of the organization’s cars.
IN PARTICULAR, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES :
Mission 1: Manage the tracking of vehicle and motorcycle movements.
Activities :
- Ensure stand-by and radio contacts;
- Respect the defined communication codes;
- Ensure, on an interim basis, the evening radio contact, in the absence of the log admin or the base logistician;
- Keep the radio log book up to date (places, dates and times of all trips);
- Transmit messages between bases or with vehicles;
- Track the movements of exiting vehicles and maintain radio contact;
- Communicate the messages to their recipients;
- Make the relay with a base or a vehicle when the frequencies are low;
- In charge of alerting on compliance with the procedures defined for travel and communication
Track movements (registration and organization pick-up/drop-off of visitors)
Mission 2: Contribute to the Archiving of purchase records in Link
Activities :
- Contribute to the digital archiving of purchase records in Link.
Mission 3: Manage the various program stocks
Activities :
- Receive validated exit requests and process them (check and provide feedback to the Program, etc.)
- Prepare the packages and the delivery note
- Updating of stock card
Update stock tracking
Physical stock management
Field delivery
Evaluation of storage spaces
Update referral locations (physical and digital )
Tracking of handling and transport equipment
- Permanent/intermittent inventory of stock.
- Keep stock spaces always clean
Mission 4: Manage the pharmacy
Activities :
Receive validated CSis needs and process them
Prepare deliveries and send them to CSIs
- Perform monthly inventories and intermittent inventories (on sampling)
- Follow up and alert on expiry dates
DIPLOMAS/LEVEL OF STUDY/EXPERIENCE :
Baccalaureate level + 2 in logistics, or international trade or in commercial action or in accounting or in proven experience in the management of equipment, goods and movement tracking.
– Professional experience of at least 1 year in a similar position
REQUIRED SKILLS :

– Fluent in French (read, written, spoken)
– Knowledge of the computer tool and the Office Pack (Word and Excel)

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE
