Missions / Responsibilities / Activities

ASSIGNMENTS:

The Store Assistant receives, stores and prepares spare parts intended for delivery to internal customers (Maintenance, Logistics, etc.). He also takes part in the monitoring and inventory of stocks, receives the parts in the company’s storage warehouse, checks their conformity with the delivery note, then stores them in the appropriate place (container, shelves, etc.). .). Finally, the warehouse assistant helps to collect the parts that need to be taken out for the Production, Maintenance or QHSE teams, thanks to logistics monitoring and inventory management tools.

ACTIVITIES :

Based on the STOREMAN’s instructions, the Storekeeper Assistant ensures:

  • The grouping of parts intended for an order;
  • Control of the conformity of the parts received and issued;
  • Ensure the conformity of the parts produced with those ordered;
  • Codification of parts;
  • Inventory management: control of the rotation of parts, verification of their availability, supply from suppliers, storage, cleaning, inventory;
  • Participation in stock inventories;
  • Upkeep, maintenance and cleaning of store equipment and equipment;
  • Carry out any other task requested by his hierarchy

Skills / Requirements / Qualities

PROFILE

  • Academic level: Baccalaureate G (BTS in Logistics and Transport option Inventory management will be an asset);
  • Additional training and/or qualification:
  • Professional experience: 02 years of responsibility for the stock of a store;
  • Age: 25 to 45 years old.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Computerization and automation are becoming increasingly important in the activities of the storekeeper. The skills required are:

  • A good knowledge of all the referenced/coded parts in the company’s stock;
  • Proper handling and keeping of basic inventory management documents;
  • the ability to read and interpret order tracking documents, barcodes, purchase order;
  • The use of industrial trucks;
  • Proficiency in inventory management software;
  • Driver’s license if required to handle pallet trucks or forklifts;
  • The good mastery of FIFO practices according to the economic needs.
