BASSAGAL CONSULTING AFRICA is recruiting, for one of its clients producing and marketing consumer products, an accountant

Attached to the Chief Accountant, your mission will be:

To provide support in the control and execution of the tasks carried out on a daily basis in certain transaction cycles in compliance with accounting and tax requirements and any other tasks entrusted to you by the hierarchy.

Your main activities will be:

  • Monitoring of foreign supplier accounts and justification of balances;
  • Monitoring of outstanding fixed assets;
  • Analysis of third-party accounts (suppliers, customers, personnel, etc.);
  • Analysis of tax risks on accounting operations;
  • The processing of inventory transactions and the justification of balances;
  • Keeping the accounts up to the balance sheet;
  • The interim closure of the accounts (monthly, half-yearly, annual) in connection with the auditor;
  • The production of dashboards, monitoring of the cash budget, analysis of flows;
  • Cash management, securities portfolio, day-to-day banking operations, draft remittances;
  • The periodic preparation (weekly, monthly, annual) of analysis statements of the accounts in general and of third parties in particular;
  • Support for the control of operations included in the transaction cycles (purchases/suppliers, customers/sales, cash, various operations, analysis and justification of account balances, highlighting of risks);


  • Higher education level Bac+4 minimum in Accounting and Management Control;
  • You have 10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 05 years in a similar position;
  • Experience in the brewing or industrial sector is an asset;
  • Master accounting standards and techniques;
  • Have a good knowledge of the regulations;
  •  Have a good knowledge of IT and accounting tools (Office, Word, SAP, SAGE);
  • Have knowledge of taxation;
  • Have a good command of professional English;
  • Have a good spirit of analysis and synthesis;
  • Be rigorous, organized and know how to anticipate;
  • Be autonomous and able to adapt;
  • Be pragmatic and reactive to find concrete solutions to the problems posed and in all circumstances;
  • Be open-minded, know how to listen and dialogue;
  • Be discreet and have a sense of responsibility;
  • Know how to manage stress;
  • Relational ease and sense of service;
  • Have a sense of confidentiality.
