All the initiators of the ” Cameroonian Cultural Network ” project are looking for a Project Manager available from January 01, 2023 to December 31, 2023.
The project: Cameroonian Cultural Network (CCN)
The project brings together European and local stakeholders to develop a digital and physical platform to establish a strong network in Cameroon for artists, spin artistic productions and deliver a capacity building program for cultural infrastructure/spaces associates.
Cameroonian Cultural Network is a project of: CIPCA, CLAC, European Delegation in Cameroon, Goethe-Institut, French Institute Cameroon, Kiki Entertainment & OTHNILaboratoire de Théâtre de Yaoundé. This project is funded by the “ACP-EU Culture Program – Creating in Central Africa”
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
- Implementation of the project under the direction of the project coordination committee / Board (CIPCA, CLAC, European Delegation in Cameroon, Goethe-Institut, Institut Français Cameroun, Kiki Entertainment & OTHNI-Laboratoire de Théâtre de Yaoundé)
- Coordination, organization and implementation of the project, in particular: partner selection process, preparation and organization of training, assistance in organizing tours, development of digital platforms and social networks, supervision of community managers, communication with project partners , and all other activities related to the smooth running of the project.
- Coordination and implementation of internal and external communication
- Coordination of collaboration with external service providers (designers, printers, photographers, CMS input, etc.)
- Assistance to the administration for: Budget management, establishment of contracts with artists, associated cultural spaces and service providers, budget monitoring, accounting, drafting of various technical and financial reports.
- Development and production of accompanying evaluation and monitoring tools and writing of an evaluation report
- Drafting of the project evaluation report.
SKILLS
- Have completed university studies (Bachelor’s / Master’s) in cultural management or cultural mediation / cultural engineering or another sector related to this field.
- Have experience in project management in different fields
- Have very good knowledge of French and English
- Have computer skills (MS-Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Be able to work independently
- Be able to work remotely
- Have very good management, coordination and communication skills
- Have very good intercultural and social skills
- Have great flexibility and be able to handle heavy workloads
- Knowledge of the Cameroonian artistic environment is an asset.
