Professional Intern – Human Resources

As part of its expansion, Elecnor SA Cameroon is looking for a Human Resources Professional Intern whose mission will be to assist the Human Resources Manager in the administrative and operational management of  the Human Resources Department.

Type of contract: Professional Internship

Remuneration: According to the internal salary grid

  1. Its main missions

Provide administrative management/remuneration management/skills development:

  • Provide support in the recruitment process;
  • Ensure the follow-up of inductions according to the social policy of the company;
  • Follow up on dashboards and monthly staff reports;
  • Follow up on absences, sickness records, etc.;
  • Follow up on salary advances, mission expenses;
  • Monitor employment contracts;
  • Follow up on files at the CNPS and the labor inspectorate;

Manage         leave (requests, monthly statements, calculation of allowances)

  • Manage the updating of personnel files (physical and computerized);
  • Provide support for monthly payroll management;
  • Provide support and play an advisory role to employees on HR rules and procedures.
  1. C) Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Cameroonian labor law to deal with individual and collective issues;
  • Excellent command of payroll management and forward-looking management of jobs and skills (GPEC);
  • Excellent knowledge of business lines;
  • Perfect command of computer tools, in particular the Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, etc.);
  • Solid knowledge in writing professional reports.

Ability to work independently;

Ability to work in a group and under pressure;

Great sense of initiative and responsiveness

Demonstrate rigor and organization (respect of deadlines)

  1. Qualifications required

Diplomas: Hold a minimum of a BAC+ 3/4 in human resources management, management sciences, or any other equivalent diploma;

Have relevant experience of 01 to 02 years in a similar position;

Experience in companies in the Buildings and Public Works sector is strongly desired;
