Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant

The Norwegian Refugee Council is looking for 01 Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

The post holder will be responsible for:

•  Work in accordance with NRC policies, tools, manuals and guidelines.
•  Support in the monitoring and evaluation (qualitative and quantitative) of all activities undertaken in the area of ​​intervention.
•  Prepare the terms of reference for evaluations, studies, project surveys and its quarterly work plan for the monitoring and evaluation of interventions to be validated by the M&E Officer and shared with the technical managers concerned and all those concerned (including including logistics, administration and finance).
•  Draft activity progress reports as requested by supervisor or management.
•  Participate in the design and improvement of monitoring and evaluation tools used to capture the effects of program activities.
•  Participate in the identification, documentation and sharing of lessons learned and success stories illustrating the improvements made to the situation of beneficiaries by NRC and provide the necessary figures and analyzes carried out for the writing of reports (internal or external) and new projects.
•  Contribute to capacity building in monitoring-evaluation and capitalization of all program staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications and skills are required for this position:

•  Proven professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in humanitarian context.
•  In-depth knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Kobotools software.
•  In-depth knowledge of the social, cultural, economic and legal context of the Far North, more particularly that of Logone et Chari.
•  Have at least a Bac + 2 diploma in monitoring and evaluation, social sciences, project management, statistics or related sciences or any other equivalent diploma.
•  Mastery of French both orally and in writing and of the languages ​​of the Far North.
•  Mastery of basic notions of English.
