For the purposes of its services, the Cameroon International Bank for Savings and Credit is recruiting 01 MIDDLE OFFICE ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Assignment

  • Management and Control of the Credit portfolio within the Retail Banking Department.

Job activities

    • Carry out the in-depth study within the DBD of the credit files according to the defined procedures, by evaluating the coherence of the project and the risk elements (preventing over-indebtedness, thwarting fraud, etc.) and issuing reasoned opinions
    • Check the compliance and completeness of the loan files received during the study;
    • Request additional information or documents from the network, if necessary;
    • Ensure the follow-up of all credit files entering the Agencies, Region, DBD, CIC and Group delegation, until their implementation or their return to the network;
    • Get closer to customers, if necessary, for the negotiation of agreements and protocols;

  • Make the connection between the DBD and the regions on the one hand and on the other hand between the DBD and the Risks division (Counter-study, Implementation, legal aspects);
  • Provide training / assembly reminder shots Credits to sales teams if necessary;
  • Manager of Junior and/or Senior credit analysts;
  • Centralized monitoring of collection files;
  • Accompaniment of Regional Managers at the level of alert committees.

Profile

  • Higher education diploma (BACC + 4 minimum) or banking diploma (BP, ITB);
  • Minimum banking experience of 7 years, preferably in credit risk management. Knowledge
  • Mastery of the credit policy for individuals and professionals;
  • Good expertise in credit analysis of individual and business files (TPE);
  • Knowledge of professional standards by sectors and trades;
  • Notions of company law, civil law, contract law, security rights and bank guarantees;
  • Knowledge of COBAC/BEAC regulations in terms of credit risk management

Know-how and know-how

  • Ability to carry out sector studies and analyze financing needs;
  • Ability to search for information and update knowledge Writing, analysis and synthesis skills;
  • Ability to expose and defend a position on a credit file (various commitment committees, senior decision-maker, Network…);
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines;
  • Managerial capacity;
  • Rigor and organization;
  • Be a source of proposals in a posture of continuous improvement;
  • Sense of confidentiality .
