Job Title: Marketing Communication Officer (Media & Digital)

Job Objectives

Develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience that will make UBA Africa an inspirational, powerful and global brand – A market leader across all relevant industry parameters.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • – Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
  • – Plan, organize, and carry out external and internal communications campaigns
  • – Create new engaging written, photo and video content across our social media
  • – Platforms
  • – Monitoring and assessment of media coverage including updating media databases and conducting associated research
  • – Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.
  • – Monitor social media channels to identify relevant trends and influencers for the Bank
  • – Assist in writing content and producing print and digital marketing material projects
  • – Assist in the selection, photography and uploading of new articles and content to our website
  • – Content management to drive digital media engagements, grow followership, and conversion rate for company products and services.
  • – Review website and social media analytics and make recommendations to the head Marketing & Brand Communication Projects

  • – A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Mass Communication or Business Administration.
  • – MSc, MBA will be an added advantage


Minimum relevant banking experience: n/a. Minimum non-banking but related experience: 3
