Presentation of the association
The French Red Cross (CRf) and the Cameroon Red Cross (CRC) are humanitarian associations, auxiliary to the public authorities, which provide aid and assistance to vulnerable people.

Since 2010, the French Red Cross (CRf) has been present in Cameroon and intervenes in the areas of health, nutrition and food security and livelihoods (SAME) in the East and South regions. ‘Far North.

Objective / Summary of the Internship

Under the supervision of the Assistant Logistics Coordinator, the intern will be called upon to put their theoretical knowledge into practice, and develop their skills in Logistics according to the procedures of the French Red Cross in the areas of motorized fleet / transport , equipment and IT maintenance, supplies and archiving.

Location of the internship

This internship is open to people with the required profile and residing exclusively in Yaoundé. The intern selected at the end of the recruitment process cannot therefore claim relocated status.

Responsibilities

1. MANAGEMENT OF THE MOTORIZED/TRANSPORTATION FLEET

He.She will learn to:

  • Coordinate the various daily movements;
  • Fuel vehicles;
  • Establish a weekly report of vehicles, generators;
  • Check documents completed by drivers in vehicles;

2. EQUIPMENT, IT & GENERAL SERVICES

He.She will learn to:

  • Curative maintenance in homes and offices;
  • Curative maintenance of equipment and IT;

3. SUPPLY MANAGEMENT AND ARCHIVING

 He.She will learn to:

  • Prepare purchase requests;
  • Prepare the payment of invoices;
  • Prepare quotation requests;
  • Issue Purchase Orders;
  • Receive orders;
  • Physically and digitally archive purchase records;
Qualifications and experience
Diploma / Level of study  :

  • Diploma: BTS or License;
  • Training (optional): Logistics or any other related degree
  • Experience (optional): At least 03 months of experience in the field of Logistics or any other related field.

Expected theoretical knowledge

  • Knowledge of archiving in general
  • Supply chain knowledge

Expected skills (optional)

  • Office package (Word and Excel)
  • Organizational sense
