The SEALAND SERVICES Company is looking for one (01) Forklift operator on behalf of one of its customers based in Douala
ASSIGNMENTS
Carry out handling operations for goods, products, materials and articles in order to supply the production and product shipping sectors in compliance with procedures and rules of the art.
ACTIVITIES
- Handling, transfer and storage of materials, containers and pallets manually or using a handling machine
- Receipt and dispatch of goods and products
- Control of the conformity of the products and objects transported with the documents which accompany them
- Identification and reporting of handling anomalies (defective packaging, missing packages, etc.)
- Organization and transfer of production scrap
- Information on handling documents
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
PROFILE
- Academic level: BEPC or equivalent
- Additional training and/or qualification: Category G driving licence, Defensive driving
- Professional experience: 02 years in forklift driving
- Maximum age: 61
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Handle and transport materials or products
- Drive a forklift
- Have a good approach to space to optimize the storage of products according to the space available in a warehouse, a truck, a container.
- Identify and verify products or goods
- Adapt handling conditions to different products (weight, fragility, environment, etc.)
- Communicate with different interlocutors in various situations
- Apply HSE rules in any intervention
- Alert the departments concerned in the event of a malfunction or anomaly
