 Field Sales Supervisor (Cat 9)

Position Based in Cameroon

Under the supervision of the Sales Operations & Distribution Manager, the Field Sales Supervisor has the following missions:

  • Ensure the development of sales and the availability of products in his sector for each distribution channel in relation to the orientations defined by the regional manager.
  • Also ensure the supervision of salespeople – merchandisers and itinerant salespeople in his sector.

What will you do ?

  • Develop the sector assigned to him;
  • Negotiate orders with wholesalers by ensuring permanent availability of products throughout the distribution chain;
  • Ensure that wholesalers are sufficiently stocked;
  • Destock the distributors in its sector in accordance with the route schedule;
  • Control their stocks and advise them for future orders;
  • Make sure wholesalers pay their bills;
  • Ensure total coverage of its sector in terms of presence, visits and customer follow-up;
  • Supervise the sector’s sales team;
  • Ensure the presence of products in the points of sale of wholesalers, semi-wholesale and retail (aprons, stalls, shops etc.);
  • Monitor the proper execution of Trade operations in its sector and report on it;
  • Permanently update its sales universe and In Market Sales;
  •  Ensure the permanent evaluation of Digital Distribution in the various sectors of its area of ​​supervision;
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the hierarchy.

What will be your contribution?

Skills: Bac+3/4 in Marketing, Commerce, Sales, Distribution

Experience and Qualifications: At

least 5 years of professional experience in monitoring sales activities and supervising sales teams in the field

Knowledge/Know How:

  • Mastery of customer relationship management
  • Mastery of communication techniques related to customer relations
  • Ability to lead teams and work in a team
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Capacity for autonomy, analysis and synthesis

Know how to be:

Availability, work under pressure, integrity, rigor, results orientation, taking initiative, interpersonal skills.

Know-how: Supervision – Delegation of tasks – Team management
