1. Project planning and development

  • Monitor and implement projects
  • Implement rigorous monitoring and evaluation processes (performance indicators, dashboards, evaluation matrix)
  • Definition and monitoring of the implementation of the operational strategy of the projects

2. Develop and lead operational teams

  • Examine the progress of the project
  • Assemble and manage the operational team to create a well-oiled project machine.

3. Set a deadline and monitor project progress

  • Elaboration of project retroplanning
  • Define the deliverables of the projects together with the technical and financial managers
  • Define and meticulously follow project deadlines and deliverables

4. Identify and solve problems that arise

  • Demonstrate ability to adapt and adjust to challenges related to project implementation
  • Establish a map of operational risks and propose means of adjustment

6. Ensure stakeholder satisfaction

  • Maintain open contact channels with partners and operational teams for updates and reviews.

7. Project performance evaluation and reporting

  • Ensure the collection of quantitative and qualitative data on the projects throughout the implementation in order to facilitate their evaluation;
  • Identify defects and plan how to solve problems
  • Means of transport of the company
  • communications budget
  • Prerogatives in terms of organizing tasks and managing projects
  • Team of motivated collaborators

Job Profile

  • A solid understanding of business cases and risk management processes
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proven skills in self-management and team management
  • Ability to track and control project budgets
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Have great social and communication skills
  • Holder of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, you have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience acquired in project management, ideally in the agricultural sector, agro-industry, or finance.
  • You have a keen sense of business and proven experience in start-ups or in the agro-industry;
  • You have a strong taste for numbers and quantitative analysis
  • You are enthusiastic, autonomous and organized. You are passionate about the development of Africa 
  • This position offers a large autonomy to take up major challenges such as the repositioning of the cocoa sector in Cameroon on the international market, the certification of cocoa or even adaptation to climate change. The prospects for internal development are also multiple.
