The AGORA MEDICAL company specializing in the distribution and sale of consumables and advanced medical equipment is recruiting to develop its activities in Douala,  A COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR  for the development of its activities.


Under the authority of the General Manager


  • Organize the sales department,
  • Manage the entire sales team with a view to achieving results,
  • Design the marketing strategy and control its operational implementation,
  • Designing the commercial and marketing strategy, controlling its operational implementation,
  • Contribute to the growth of the company’s turnover and customer loyalty,


Marketing activities

  • Ongoing market analysis,
  • Design of the marketing policy and monitoring of the implementation,
  • Marketing and strategic monitoring,
  • Design of the customer loyalty policy and implementation,
  • Define the quality and customer satisfaction policy in the commercial area

Commercial activities

  • Development of sales and customer portfolio,
  • Development of commercial territories,
  • distribution coordination,
  • Production of commercial reports,
  • Monitoring of the customer portfolio in real time,
  • Design and define the communication strategy, web, media and non-media,
  • Represent the CEO,
  • Manage new commercial projects,

Activities in the field of team animation

  • Set objectives for sales and marketing staff
  • Follow up on goals
  • Periodically evaluate staff,
  • Prepare employee and team performance reports,
  • Manage employee skills development plans,
  • Participate in the recruitment of members of the sales and marketing team,


  • M/F between 30-45 years old
  • Min Bac + 5 in Marketing, Strategy, Management or equivalent,
  • Min 08 years of professional experience including at least 03 as Sales Director/Sales Manager,
  • Min 02 years of experience in the distribution industry of medical materials or equipment, medical equipment (asset),
  • Very good knowledge of purchasing behavior in the medical equipment sector,
  • Proven experience in the development of commercial activities at the sub-regional level (CEMAC),
  • Mastery of commercial software, ERP, MS Office
  • Mastery of the policy of distribution of consumer products,
  • Good command of commercial communication,
  • Proactive, dynamic, able to adapt to a demanding environment,
  • Good reporting ability,
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Fluency in French and English (Asset),
  • Experience in Business Analysis is an asset,
