Client Accountant

• Location Douala Cameroon
• Nature of the CDI contract

• Receive premium issue receipts per subscriber;
• Submit direct debit orders;
• Make premium calls to partners and customers 
• Collect premiums paid 
• Analyze and report periodically on the discrepancies between expected and received receipts; 
• Analyze rejections and implement corrective actions;
• Identify and codify all cash receipts;
• clear premiums;
• Analyze and produce a periodic report on outstanding payments;
• Keep a dashboard of receipts received

Profile required

• Diploma: BAC +2/3 in Accounting-Finance or any other equivalent diploma.
• Experience: Minimum experience of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position.

Abilities:

• Knowledge of accounting techniques and rules
• Mastery of the CIMA chart of accounts ‘Knowledge of general accounting
• Know how to integrate into a chain of accounting decisions
• Mastery of the rules for keeping accounting documents
• Good knowledge of HELIOS software would be a plus
• Mastery of Google suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
