A. Purpose of the position
The Partnership Manager will be responsible for creating an effective, solid, sustainable and lasting partnership chain between the various actors of the local health system, in this case the Town Halls, the Health Districts and the dialogue structures in the Banyo, Malentouen and Yoko sites.
B. Main responsibilities
Under the hierarchical supervision of the Project Coordinator, the
Partnership Manager will be responsible for:
- Participate in the planning and implementation of activities relating to epidemiological surveys, KAP and PVH;
- Effectively participate in project field surveys;
- Ensure the creation of a good synergy between the various partners involved in the implementation of the project: traditional leaders, community influencers, Mayors and Heads of Health Districts;
- Support community mobilization activities on cutaneous NTD research and other health programs;
- Provide technical support to local MINAS officials for the supervision of PWDs;
- Participate in the design of technical documents and communication media;
- Support and supervise dialogue structures in their deployment and empowerment
- Provide technical support to Multipurpose Community Health Workers in their deployment in the field;
- Participate in the writing of life stories and success stories of the project;
- Contribute to effective management of health and community data;
- Ensure the physical and electronic archiving of documents (reports, database, etc.)
- Capitalize the important axes of the project according to the capitalization plan;
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation missions;
- Participate in meetings with partners;
- Participate in mid-term and end-of-phase evaluations of the project;
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
C. Qualifications and Experience
1. Training:
- Hold a university degree of at least bac+3 level in social sciences, management, project management, monitoring and evaluation.
- Have very good computer skills
- Have a very good level of French or English and a good ability to work in the other language.
2. Professional experience
- Proof of professional experience of 4 to 5 years in a similar position
- Have an experience of at least 3 years in an international organization
- Have work experience in health projects
3. Qualifications required
- Have a very high sense of confidentiality, rigor, pragmatism
- Have very good interpersonal skills
- Have a great strength of proposal
- Have a team spirit
- Have a high sense of ethics and confidentiality,
- Have a strong sense of organization and responsibility
- Avoir la capacité de prise de décisions en autonomie ;
- Have strong writing skills;
- Be able to work in a multicultural environment;
- Knowledge of local languages and cultures would be an asset.
