Action Contre la Faim is an international, non-political, non-confessional and non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). For our operations in Cameroon, we are looking for:
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER (HUMAN RESOURCES AND FINANCE)
Base of attachment: Maroua
Number of positions: 01
Contract duration: 01 year
Start date: July 2022
Supervised by: Field Coordinator
Location: The candidate must have Maroua as their place of residence
OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB : Ensure the financial and HR management of the base in compliance with the procedures defined for the mission and the Action Against Hunger rules to ensure the best support for the programs.
IN PARTICULAR, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Monitoring and analysis of financial and HR indicators in his area;
- Participation in the development of budgets and monitoring of their implementation;
- Support to program managers in assessing their needs;
- Ensure compliance with supply chain financial rules;
- Oversee base accounting;
- Ensure cash management;
- Ensure the management of human resources;
- Implement and monitor collaboration and financial, budgetary and HR coordination with mission partners;
- Supervise and support the finance and HR teams of the base.
DIPLOMAS/LEVEL OF STUDY/EXPERIENCE :
- Higher diploma (Bac+5) in economics, finance or management sciences;
- Good human resource management skills;
- Solid experience in finance, HR and management (5 years) in a similar position would be appreciated;
- Experience in humanitarian work would be an asset;
- Experience in financial management of projects would be an asset.
- Knowledge of donor procedures (Echo, SIDA, EuropeAid, OFDA, AFD, SDC, etc.);
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Sense of diplomacy, rigor, firmness and responsibility;
- Open-mindedness, creativity, good communication and good organization;
- Good follow-up analysis skills and very good managerial skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Very good skills in office, HOMERE, SAGA or any other data management software.
RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE
The Action Against Hunger recruitment procedure includes 3 key steps:
- A pre-selection on the basis of the file submitted (only candidates whose skills and experience correspond to the profile described in the offer are selected for the written test)
- A written technical test
- An oral interview
