The Job

Reporting to the Administrative Manager, the successful applicant will be, among other key aspects, responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to the Administrative Manager and the Principal
  • Receiving payment request and ensuring complete documentation to support payments
  • Providing administrative support to programs and internal processes for events and workshops in the school
  • Filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete administration records
  • Processing and recording of all approved expenses
  • Handling confidential information with honesty and integrity
  • Procurement of goods and services against approved purchase orders
  • Creating and documenting staff meeting minutes
  • Performing other related functions as requested

The Person

The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:

  • At least 2 years working experience in administration or related field
  • Business administration qualification
  • Sound knowledge of Management Information Systems, proficiency with computers
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency and responsibility
  • Basic understanding of English
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of accounting will be an added advantage
